Mid-Week Monochrome #49

It has been a while since I joined a challenge, so I thought I would remedy the problem by joining the Brashley’s Mid-Week Monochrome challenge, number 49.

The subject is the First Street Cemetery that I was walking by near the Brazos River. My favorite picture is the one just below: Private First Class Joseph Cross. I wonder if the tree that his grave is under, was there when they buried him in 1919. It looks peaceful.

Mid-Week Monochrome — 39 — Little Rock Skyline

On our recent trip to Tennessee, we stopped on the Arkansas River Trail and I loved the Little Rock skyline. Usually, on a cloud day, I would have lamented the overcast skies, but these clouds had some real character and helped enhance the scenery.

Note: this is my first post where I uploaded the pictures at the large setting instead of the full-size setting. I’ve been having trouble with the pages loading at the full-size setting and this seems to alleviate the problems. Please let me know if you noted any difference in the picture quality.
