This is Juan. He’s working hard to fix the internet cables. During the Corona Effect, keeping the internet going is a top priority. Apparently, water was linking into the cables and the bacteria was getting inside, causing problems. I never knew bacteria could cause the internet problems, but apparently so.
It’s good to see that some people are still working.
Now for the full color shots of the canyon.
This is the hardest one for me, given that I’m a substitute teacher. When school is out, I don’t work. Hopefully, the schools will start back up again soon. In other words, hopefully the corona effect will blow over like a typical spring storm.
Just a tad early, but I’m glad.
The character of the country cabin.
My first opportunity to preach in an Orthodox Presbyterian Church came back in 2015, in Neon, KY. The congregation there is an absolute testimony to God’s rich grace and mercy. We really enjoyed their fellowship and optimism.
I save the best for last. This is the last one in the series for a while. I’m hoping to go back and take some photos of the final pictures, especially the ones that went to state competition. But a lot of that depends on my subbing schedule.
Another dam photo. This weir is just down stream from the South Holston Dam on the Holston River and intended to add oxygen to the river whenever the Dam is not in operation. It helps the fishies, and is rather pleasing to listen to.
I wanted to do a follow-up shot on this work this week, but Mr. Buscemi told me that it was packed up for state competition. He has more than 20 students going to the state finals for their work. But that is nothing. A few years ago, his students set the record with 39 works going to the state finals. I hope you can see why.

On a cold, winter day of exploration.
Another in the series. The portrait makes me think of summer at the beach.
In the dead of winter, photos of the fair are a good reminder that the colors, outside of the bleak and grey of winter, do exist. I threw in a monochrome for good measure, since even this monochrome speaks of more color than these pitiful grey winter days.
The eyes follow you. That is what I first noticed about Rohan’s artwork. No matter where I stood, the eyes of the child were looking right at me. I told him he did a fantastic job on the little girl’s eyes. He replied, “that’s not a little girl. That’s me.”
It didn’t matter that I made the mistake. He knew that I really appreciated his work. I can’t wait to see it when it’s finished.
