As the boys and I walked around downtown Dallas, looking for an ATM machine so we could eat hamburgers at the Record Grill, we stumbled upon Dealey Plaza. It is the plaza named after George Bannerman Dealey. I have no idea who he is, but do know it is also the location where John F. Kennedy was assassinated.
I told the boys that this is where we were. It didn’t look like I imagined it to be, even though I have driven over the spot where Kennedy was shot several times. Once I got my bearing, after looking at the map provided below, I was able to see the grassy knoll, and the Book Depository Building, which in my mind, was in completely the wrong place.
For those of you who don’t remember, the Book Depository Building was the location where the alleged shooter, Lee Harvey Oswald, was said to be shooting from. When I saw the location, knowing where the car was located, it didn’t make sense at all. I’m already skeptical of the official story, but now that I’ve been there? Nope. The official story is bunk.
But we will never know who shot JFK. I would say that when we get to heaven, we can ask then but I know enough about the King of Heaven to know that once we get there, we won’t give a rip about something like who shot JFK at all. We will see it wholly unimportant in the grand scheme of things.
So let the speculation continue for the time being….
You can see the knoll in this picture.
Look at the white car in this picture. That is about the location of Kennedy’s car when he was shot.
The famous Book Depository Building.

I’ve not been there, thanks for the tour.
