These are the photos that I really enjoy: the photos when people are not posed, not expecting it. I wish I could take more of them.

And yes, this was unplanned. I was walking in front of the crowd and didn’t bother to turn around, just pointed my camera in their direction and snapped a few shots.
One was watching me, the other? She obviously didn’t like what she saw.

I spotted these great doors in the Harbor District of Rockwall. It’s a trendy place right on the eastern shore of Lake Ray Hubbard. I took my boys there to celebrate their birthdays with dinner and spotted some excellent doors to shoot for Dan’s Thursday Doors.
But before I could get there, a couple out on their prom night showed up with their family to take pictures. Apparently, Enrique and Jazmine thought the same thing about the door that I did: “hey, what a great door for Thursday Doors!” Well, they may not have been thinking that. But they didn’t mind me taking pictures of them along with their family. I hope they had a wonderful night out. They look like a delightful couple.
