Here is my entry in Marsha’s, Always Write Blog, PPAC Challenge. This challenge it to take pictures of public art and share with others. There is an abundance of public art to work with, and my entry is of a painted guitar I found at the Harbor District in Rockwall with my boys back in April (hard to believe that was back in April).

The Harbor District is a trendy area on Lake Ray Hubbard. I don’t think it’s really a harbor. If you look closely at the lighthouse, pictured below, you can see that it’s not very tall, maybe 14′ feet high. Since it’s on a lake, there are no ships that need a warning of the shore, at least, not to my knowledge.

    1. Marsha, I’m sorry about that. And thanks for holding the challenge. They seem like they would be a lot of work.

  3. It may not be a harbour but it’s a pretty photo opportunity.

  4. This is cool. When you look at the entire guitar I could not see the ocean and the sunset. You just have to look closer.
