Taking pictures of fireworks is a challenge. Night pictures are always difficult, and even more so when the subject keeps moving around the night sky, changing in intensity, and never really letting you know when its going to be there. So… here is the first installment of the ones that cooperated. I think I took about 90 pictures in all.

I’ve missed for the past several years, but given the fact that I haven’t been able to do a lot with my boys, I made a point of going.

Don’t worry. You didn’t miss much. Fireworks shows are overrated. However, meeting the people while there is a joy.
