We had to put in a new floor, and yes, we had to. The old one had holes underneath it, was terribly warped, and it was like walking in sand dunes. Our contractor was able to level out the floor but gave us the warning that we could have to replace this floor in 2 years, or 10 years. I’m holding out for 10 years.

BTW, in the third photo you can see the ceiling fan and the wind chimes hanging from the curtain rod. We love wind chimes and couldn’t find a place outside to hang these. When we turn on the ceiling fan, we can actually hear the wind chimes. We’re thinking of getting more for the ceiling fan in our bedroom.
