I believe there is a deeper reason why we love fountains. They represent living waters, or waters that never cease to flow. For a culture that doesn’t live in the desert, this can sometimes be hard to grasp. But desert living will quickly remind a person just how important living waters are to life. Without water, we die. With stagnant water, we die. With living waters, waters that flow, we live. And with the One who is THE living waters, we truly live. You can read about Him in the ancient book.
