Got home after work on Tuesday, and was tired. I didn’t feel like doing much, but sitting out on our back deck and enjoying the evening. I hadn’t planned on it, but the call of the empty fire pit was too much. So I started a small fire and enjoyed it for half an hour. It was the first fire in the fire pit since we moved into our new home.

As for the pit itself, I plan on remove all the white stones, and white bricks. I’m replacing the bricks with stones from the Watauga River in Tennessee. As you can see, we need to make a lot more trips to the river to finish out the fire pit.
