Walking around a neighborhood last week in Asheville, NC, I came across Betty and Fred. They said “like in the Flintstones.” That helped me remember their names, although it was Betty and Barney, Fred and Wilma, for those who remember.
Betty and Fred were out getting some sun. They didn’t fear Covid-19, because they didn’t seem to be the type to go many places to begin with. But they also said they’ve been through so much already in life, that they were not worried about this latest scare. We had a nice chat, and I took some pictures of things in their yard.
