I really love the idea of seeing America in a covered wagon. I don’t love it enough to ever attempt it, but it has a real appeal to it.
Filling up for gas means picking up a few more bales of hay. Traffic jams? Go around on the side of the road. Cities, avoid all together. Wide spots in the road actually turn out to be small towns with real people living in them. Don’t like sleeping in hotels? Take your bed with you. I haven’t quite figured out the restroom aspect of it? Hole in the back? Don’t know. And cooking? It would be a perpetual camping trip. Maybe that is why we don’t see more wagons crossing the country like this one.
