Happy New Year!

Woo Hoo! Happy New Year!

May your 2015 be so much better than your 2014!

I hope you realize that the American dream is just that: a dream. Chasing it can be a nightmare and very fruitless.

I hope you know this country is not the kingdom of God, but a fallen-manmade kingdom.

I hope you know the Savior and trust Him more this year than you did last year.

I hope you see that much of what the world offers in the way of comfort, success, acceptance and righteousness is all false. Those things can be found only in Christ.

I hope you realize how important your family is, and rejoice that time you have with them.

I hope you realize you are loved, by someone. Even if you are not, it’s better to love others and let the chips fall where they may.

Finally, realize that the year will pass quicker than the last one did. I know, it happened with 2014, 2013, 2012, etc. Others have confirmed this reality to me. So enjoy Today while it is yet Today.

In fact, I hope you have a spiritually blessed year, one that can only be blessed by the Holy Spirit, His word and the promises found in Scripture.

Many blessings to you and yours.

  1. This year, may we earnestly obey His commandments and rest in His grace.

‘And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil. And I will send grass in your fields for your livestock, that you may eat and be filled.’ “Take heed to yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other gods and worship them, lest the Lord’s anger be aroused against you, and He shut up the heavens so that there be no rain, and the land yield no produce, and you perish quickly from the good land which the Lord is giving you. (Ex 11:13-16)
