Andy, Joey and I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
In Hebrews 13:5, it says, He will never leave you nor forsake you. For that reason, we have a lot to be thankful for. Knowing that as Christians, God’s covenantal love is upon us is a real reason for joy. This means we are His own private possession, for which, I’m truly thankful.
I’m also truly thankful for my boys being with me this Thanksgiving. Picking them up on Tuesday was what I needed the most right now in my life. I needed to be with my boys and we have had a wonderful time together. From their sense of humor, to reading books with them, to playing silly boy games, I’m loving every minute of it.
Other things I’m thankful for:
- My church home, Westminster Presbyterian Church. Far too many people leave finding a good church home to the last thing they do when moving to a community. It should be the opposite. We should find a great church home and then find a job so we can stay in the area. I’m really working hard to put this in practice.
- The appreciation my employers have for me for being there. Since both are minimum wage jobs, they do appreciate that I don’t treat it like that. So in view of this, I’m grateful my father instilled a great work ethic into me.
- I’m thankful for being back in Texas.
Andy is thankful for his Dad!
Joey is thankful for “God, Mom, Dad, Pops… everything. I’m thankful for everything.”
We hope you remember the many things we are all thankful for.
