Why do I say that? Because he should be apologizing to most of the U.S. right now for trying to fool us on global warming. Just in my neck of the woods, it’s not supposed to get above freezing here in Tennessee all week long. That is a wee bit cooler than the annual temperature this time of year. According to one site, the average temperature is around 40 degrees. So right now we are 20 degrees below average. I know that the site is giving an average and that there will be times when the temp dips below that. But we’ve been below it the entire month of December and probably will be during January as well.
According to those who are worried about man-made global warming, this should not happen. We should be able to wear short sleeves and short pants right about now. I really wish that we could because it’s been a long time since I’ve been able to go to the driving range. But alas, that darn arctic air blowing in and keeping things cool. This is according to CNN, it’s all this arctic air that is moving south. Seems like last time it got really cold in the South during the winter, it was arctic air. Perhaps arctic air is the cause of global warming, or should I say, the absence of arctic air. But whatever the case, it’s not man-made as Al Gore has told us, unless you fudge the records on global temperatures… then it IS man-made. But man has to fudge the records for it to happen.
As I’ve contended all along, there is only One responsible for our weather and those in the science community refuse to acknowledge His existence. They would much rather put their faith in their own system of religion, otherwise known as the scientific community.
But alas, I digress. If Al Gore wants to gain anything with the public, he should apologize for misleading the nation with his lies on global warming.
Also, along this line, Mike M. at Mike’s America reminded us of the fact that one eruption of a volcano puts more CO2 into the atmosphere than all automobiles combined. I had to nab the picture of the Russian volcano going off. I love pictures of erupting volcanoes. Not sure why, but it is so impressive.
I believe one reason why so many buy into Al Gore’s lie is because they don’t see how big our world truly is. Just look at the photo of the volcano. How long would it take for us to walk around that volcano? The spaceshuttle flies by in a matter of minutes, causing us to think the world is small. But if we had to walk around it, how long would it take? A week? Two weeks? That would really help remind us of how big our planet is, and how little of our planet is inhabited. Given that, how much could we really do to it driving SUV’s?
Just another thought, if it’s OK to drive a hybrid, then why not an SUV? If CO2 is all bad, then why not all automobiles? Why does it become OK just because we drive a hybrid? They still emit CO2? Just some thoughts.
