Al Gore is a Coward

Why do I say that? Because he should be apologizing to most of the U.S. right now for trying to fool us on global warming. Just in my neck of the woods, it’s not supposed to get above freezing here in Tennessee all week long. That is a wee bit cooler than the annual temperature this time of year. According to one site, the average temperature is around 40 degrees. So right now we are 20 degrees below average. I know that the site is giving an average and that there will be times when the temp dips below that. But we’ve been below it the entire month of December and probably will be during January as well.

According to those who are worried about man-made global warming, this should not happen. We should be able to wear short sleeves and short pants right about now. I really wish that we could because it’s been a long time since I’ve been able to go to the driving range. But alas, that darn arctic air blowing in and keeping things cool. This is according to CNN, it’s all this arctic air that is moving south. Seems like last time it got really cold in the South during the winter, it was arctic air. Perhaps arctic air is the cause of global warming, or should I say, the absence of arctic air. But whatever the case, it’s not man-made as Al Gore has told us, unless you fudge the records on global temperatures… then it IS man-made. But man has to fudge the records for it to happen.

As I’ve contended all along, there is only One responsible for our weather and those in the science community refuse to acknowledge His existence. They would much rather put their faith in their own system of religion, otherwise known as the scientific community.

But alas, I digress. If Al Gore wants to gain anything with the public, he should apologize for misleading the nation with his lies on global warming.

Also, along this line, Mike M. at Mike’s America reminded us of the fact that one eruption of a volcano puts more CO2 into the atmosphere than all automobiles combined. I had to nab the picture of the Russian volcano going off. I love pictures of erupting volcanoes. Not sure why, but it is so impressive.

I believe one reason why so many buy into Al Gore’s lie is because they don’t see how big our world truly is. Just look at the photo of the volcano. How long would it take for us to walk around that volcano? The spaceshuttle flies by in a matter of minutes, causing us to think the world is small. But if we had to walk around it, how long would it take? A week? Two weeks? That would really help remind us of how big our planet is, and how little of our planet is inhabited. Given that, how much could we really do to it driving SUV’s?

Just another thought, if it’s OK to drive a hybrid, then why not an SUV? If CO2 is all bad, then why not all automobiles? Why does it become OK just because we drive a hybrid? They still emit CO2? Just some thoughts.

Palin, CNN & Knee Surgery

The Fake Photo
I know, it’s a racy picture, but I could not pass it up. Apparently, CNN used the picture on the left in order to slam Sarah Palin and make her look like… a redneck I guess. My first thought was, wow, having five children hasn’t effected her

The point is that those on the left are going all out in an attempt to smear her. I’m just not sure that picture would have worked even though it was faked. Sarah’s head was put on the younger body fo the woman on the right. Even if it were real, I think all it would have done is seal up the vote for males, 18-83!

You can tell the left is really reeling from the selection of Palin. They are not only showing their stupidity, but showing they are desperate to really slam her.

We Love Kids With Down Syndrome
I love this story. A man named Kurt called the Rush Limbaugh show and told the story of how he and his family, held up a sign that said “We Love Kids With Down Syndrome” as the McCain-Palin bus pulled into Washington for a rally. Both McCain and Palin were looking out the window, saw the sign and gave them the thumbs up. Kurt has a 5-year-old daughter with Down Syndrome.

The story gets better. As soon as the bus stopped, a secret service man went up to the family and took them to the inner circle of McCain, his wife, and Palin. Here is how the conversation went with Rush on his show.

CALLER: It was really cool, Rush. I was like, “Wow, that’s awesome,” because I love Governor Palin and so I thought that’s really neat. So then we moved around as the bus was getting ready to pull out, we kind of positioned ourselves so we could just wave them on and a Secret Service agent came up to us and said, “Hey, can you come with us?” I was like, “Do we have a choice?”

RUSH: (laughing) You shouldn’t have worried. It’s not the Clinton administration.

ALLER: Right. So we accompanied them up the hill, we went right to the bus, where it was, and Governor Palin, Senator McCain, Cindy, Todd Palin, they’re all standing there. We’re in this inner circle with just us and them, and the Secret Service agent, and they came right up to us and thanked us for coming out, said they loved our sign, and Governor Palin immediately said, “May I hold your daughter?” and our daughter Chloe, who’s five, went right to her, and I have some pictures I’d love to send you maybe when I’m done here, but Governor Palin was hugging Chloe, and then her little daughter brought their baby Trig who has Down syndrome from the bus, he was napping, and Chloe went right over and kissed him on the cheek, and my son Nolan who’s nine, he thanked her.

RUSH: This is amazing.

CALLER: I will send you all the stuff, Senator McCain was talking to my son, and we thanked him for his service, and he asked my son if he wanted to see the bus, and we were hanging out and it was very surreal. I felt like we could have had a pizza and a beer with them, they were so warm.

What a wonderful story. It shows the true genuine nature of the McCain’s and Palins. They are wonderful people of character. I doubt the anti-messiah would have had time for the family.

Knee Surgery
Finally, just wanted to let you know that I will be having knee surgery tomorrow. Not major surgery, but still, it’s surgery. Keep me in your prayers if you would. Pray that the surgery goes well, the recovery is quick, and that the Lord provides the finances we need to pay for it. Thanks, I appreciate it.
