Kuddos to Clint Eastwood. He knocked one out of the park talking to the empty chair Thursday night at the convention and it really got under the skin of those on the Left, given how they responded with empty statements that it demeaned the office of the president. How could the office be demeaned any more than it has. Never in the history of this country has a sitting president bowed to another leader in the world, and this president did just that. Never has a sitting president gone on tour to apologize for supposed atrocities we’ve committed around the world. Has the world ever thanked our country for the countless times the citizens of our country gave their lives and money to help them in their time of need? Not at all. The president of our country is embarrassed about our country and for that alone, we need to vote him out of office.
The empty chair is so appropriate. As an IBD Editorial points out, the empty chair is the perfect symbol for this president.
In remarks to a chair as vacant as the one in the Oval Office, a Hollywood icon reminds us that the president is a failed employee of the people and it’s time to let him go.
And…
Eastwood reminded us that as taxpayers “we own this country,” and as landlords we have the right to evict the occupant of the White House that has run up our electric, grocery and fuel bills. Under Obama, America, as represented by the White House, is “underwater” $16 trillion in debt, and with a national mortgage greater than our national income.
That alone is reason enough to fire Mr. Obama. But given his attitude about this country and who we are, we should have never voted for him. The key to understanding Obama’s view of this country was in his wife’s comment about how she was finally proud of America after he got nominated. Really? Running with leftwing hate mongers will produce such an attitude which means he isn’t qualified. He thinks his role is to bring the U.S. back down to size. In Obama’s mind, we are obviously too big for our britches.
The IBD editorial continues:
Eastwood highlighted the empty chair and the empty promises and policies that failed to lower both the sea level and the unemployment rate, stuck at more than 8% for 42 months, a post-Depression record. Meanwhile, President Obama jets to college campuses in the carbon-gushing Air Force One to prattle on about student loans to college students who won’t be able to find jobs.
Obama and his administration officials have made 435 taxpayer-funded visits to college campuses or other events targeting students since March 2011. Included have been 164 trips to battleground states, a new study shows, leaving him too busy to meet with his jobs council to find these kids work.
Eastwood’s empty chair reminds us of the poem by William Hughes Mearns that goes in part: “Last night I saw upon the stair, A little man who wasn’t there, He wasn’t there again today, Oh, how I wish he’d go away .. .”
Eastwood suggests that in November we can make our invisible president do just that.
By the way, I’m sure that the content and allusion to the chair is considered racist by MSNBC’s Chris Matthews. Apparently that windbag (another racists comment I bet), is trying to show that no matter what we say on the right, it’s racist. This shows us just how racist the left is. Let’s elect Mitt Romney in November and send this racist president packing.

Kuddos for sending this Timothy
No problem. Glad to help.
An empty chair would be better than what we got. I even suggest that all seats in Congress become empty. Less government=more freedom!!
Hi Lucy,
Yes, I agree. That is one reason why the Texas Legislature meets only once every two years. Keeps them from getting into too much trouble.
